Our team of boutique Celebrants in Orillia, Barrie, and Hamilton support families of all definitions, faiths, and backgrounds across Ontario. As ordained Ministers with the Canadian International Metaphysics Ministry, we curate powerful ceremonies that connect you to nature, your loved ones, and your inner self.
Our memorial packages.
You can hold a memorial ceremony at any time, and make it any size or style you envision. Our packages cover close graveside gatherings, large anniversary events, to at-home events for your immediate family.
One thing we know is that time is precious. Whether your loved one has recently passed or you’re reconnecting long after their death, our Life Celebrants take great care in crafting a meaningful memorial—so you can focus on family and your own grief journey.
What can you expect?
When you choose an AWAKE memorial, you will be paired with a dedicated Celebrant and an Event Coordinator. Together, we customize a ceremony that your person would love—and your family will always remember.
In every package, your Celebrant will personally reach out, check in for your feedback, and help coordinate the essential elements. Levels of support range by package, from preparing you for host duties to all-inclusive event management.
Funeral Celebrant & Officiant
For traditional funeral arrangements with a funeral home, cemetery, or at-home funeral service.
When you make arrangements with a funeral home or cemetery, the will ask what Clergy person you would like to lead the service. Do you have someone in mind? When you’re unsure, you may be referred to a religious leader you’ve never met, from a faith you may or may not even follow.
As ordained Metaphysics Ministers, we work with funeral homes and cemeteries as Clergy to lead personal, engaging, and inclusive funeral services for families of all denominations. We meet with your family, listen to your stories, and craft a heartfelt ceremony that truly reflects your loved one and your values.

Ash Scattering Ceremony
Release their ashes. Scattering ashes gives you flexibility to choose your loved one’s resting place. What did they love doing? Where do you most remember them? Is there somewhere to revisit old memories, or somewhere to make new ones?
Scattering ashes into the world is a very emotional occasion. For many people, it’s overwhelming. Many others realize only afterwards that they would have benefited from guidance, and recognizing the moment with a special ceremony or ritual.
With this package, your Celebrant supports you with choosing a special location, then crafts a personal and interactive ceremony for scattering and remembrance. On the day, we meet you at the site, create a supportive and reflective environment, and lead you through the scattering service.
Ashes can be scattered or spread nearly anywhere in Canada, and ceremonies can be held at any time—often, years later. We offer options for small containers of ashes up to full urns, with scattering in earth, air, fire, and water. Contact us to discuss or ask any questions.

Eco Ash Planting Ceremony
Return their ashes to earth. Planting their ashes with a memorial tree, flower, or other greenery creates a living reminder of their time on this earth.
Memorial plantings can be small houseplants or established outdoor perennials. You may choose to include a special planter, garden, or green cemetery / natural burial ground for your memorial ceremony.
Your dedicated Celebrant will guide you through these options, and offer advice with selecting a plant that represents your departed loved one. She will then create a one-of-a-kind ceremony for your planting, reflection, and connection to new life. On ceremony day, we meet at your venue and lead you through the ceremony and planting process, with an energy of healing and growth.
This special package uses Let Your Love Grow®, Canada’s only carbon-neutral cremation product, to truly convert ashes into an environmentally positive energy source—nourishing the earth, and leaving the planet a better place.

At-Home Memorial Kit
For smaller groups, immediate family, or your own private memories.
Your most personal package: a private ceremony, just you or your closest loved ones. We guide you through planning and writing. And when it’s time, you give it life.
Sometimes in grief, we need our own place and time to remember. If you’ve longed for a memorial that is 100% you—with professional poise and polish—then this is for you.
We’ll meet virtually to talk through your vision, then create your custom ceremony kit. You’ll receive an event itinerary, eulogy template and tips, step-by-step memorial rituals, and essential packing list.

A Full Celebration
Give family and friends the opportunity to grieve, while celebrating the person you have lost. Celebrations of life have elements of a traditional funeral, with a focus on the departed’s achievements, relationships, and impact on the world.
Many families plan a Celebration of life to recognize a significant anniversary, birthday, or milestone. You may decide to book a banquet hall, bar, or your own backyard—the options are limitless.
Your dedicated Celebrant and Coordinator get to know you and your lost loved one. With your feedback, we craft and coordinate a one-of-a-kind celebration inspired by their life, filled with merrymaking, feasting, storytelling, and connection.
Includes celebrant emcee, site setup + styling, catering, and optional ash scattering or planting ceremony.
